10 Portraits of Strong and Beautiful Women that you don't see in Beauty Magazines

'Women and girls are the water haulers of the world. On average, women and girls in developing countries walk 6 km a day, carrying 20 litres of water'

'In Sub-Sahara Africa and the Caribbean, women produce up to 80% of basic food. In South East Asia, Women account for up to 90% of the labor for rice cultivation"

'When women and girls earn income, they reinvest 90% of it into their families, as compared to only 30 % for a man'

We often see in beauty magazines the same stereotype of beauty over and over again. Making women around the world feel insecure, weakening their spirit. Making young girls focusing more and more in the way they look instead of their own identity, their own internal power and beauty.

I see women being so much more than that. I believe women are trees with strong roots and leaves which can produce fruits that can feed the world.

These selection of photos show the true beauty of a woman, which lays in their internal spirit.
