Last week I joined 55DSL to celebrate their 20th anniversary, they teamed up with APN (A Public Nuisance) to create a one-of-a kind APN cruiser. The event-exhibition was held at Hoxton Gallery in London. The atmosphera was vibrant with good music, drinks and fish and chips :)
APN is a British brand influenced by the Americana skate and surf culture. Their cruiser boards are inspired by the legendary Tom Sims. APN cruisers are all hand made and custom built to look and feel like the great mans first "waterski" skateboard.
55DSL, an Italian brand founded by Andrea Rosso, has its grass roots in the underground skate and surf sub-culture. Taking APN's historically inspired design, 55DSL have added their own touch to create the "55" inch APN cruiser.
Skate & Chips meets American skate culture.
