Apart from the fact that these don't have the leather lining like Margiela's ones they look pretty similar, and option if you can't afford to pay $200 for the original ones.
i saw this collab between converse and MMM and immediately thought: DIY!!! great post. i will definitely be doing this...i think it's a great idea to use interior wall paint too, instead of fabric paint, which is what i thought i might use originally ;) x
