Elvira 't Hart| Wearable Drawings

First of all, how genius this is?
I came across to Elvira's wearable illustrations when I was looking for new designers, she is a recent fashion graduate from Amsterdam her collection is about translating her 2D sketches into wearable garments. She actually makes her sketches the pattern using laser cuts. Organic yet very modern combination, for instance I would love to own that jacket, top and dress. For more information visit her website: www.elvirathart.com

  10. Very interesting work, we are in between, it's as if her work was a bridge between the idea and the complete product.
Like you I would go for the jacket, it's incredible, I would also maybe go for the dress too, it would do a perfect revisited Little Black Dress.

  12. These are incredible! I wasn't sure whether they were real or not at first, it's so refreshing to see true "design" on a fashion blog than just regurgitated trendy stuff! ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad

  14. As soon as I saw the first picture I was like wow!! I love the idea of wearable. I know fashion is often referred to as a form of art, but this takes it to a literal form and I think it is fantastic. Great find, thank you for sharing. Hollie x
