Yesterday I watched the Olympics Opening Ceremony and my favourite part was the Flying Marry Poppins, the cycling butterflies, the Industrial Revolution part and of course the MUSIC!
One of the things I love about English culture is the fact the have produce some of the best musicians in history! So many good bands with great influence in fashion.What was your favourite part in the Olympics Opening Ceremiony?So many good songs in the playlist so I'm sure you will enjoy these 86 historic songs! I really loved how they told the story and showed the true essence of the UK and just how diverse as a country we are. The music through the decades was such a good way of proving the Olympics is for young and old I have to say i loved that they dropped The Who in there with Baba O'Reily and My Generation! x

That song in the background when they were showing a summary of the torch relay and then during Beckham driving the boat.. I'm SO after it, and thanks to the Spanish tv commentators couldn't get to hear any of the lyrics. So if someone knows what it is, I'd appreciate a comment. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI wasn't a massive fan of the opening ceremony, but I am a lover of symmetry and so it seemed a little too messy in places for me!! I was surprised with the music section as it didn't really include Brit pop like Oasis. I suppose everyone's a cynic though :P
