Hello! I just wanted to share with you this book I found in a Charity shop about one of my favourite designers of all time. Vivienne Westwood and how she started.
SEX was a boutique run by Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood at 430 King's Road, London It specialized in clothing that defined the look of the punk movement.
The interior was covered with graffiti from the SCUM Manifesto and chickenwire. Rubber curtains covered the walls and red carpeting was installed.
SEX sold fetish and bondage wear supplied by existing
specialist labels such as Atomage, She-And-Me and London Leatherman as
well as designs by McLaren and Westwood. Among customers at SEX were the four original members of The Sex Pistols
This book seems to be awsome ! I have heard about this shop, I guess that I will have to go back to London to get this fashion vibe that I like so much;) Thank you for this post !

I love Vivienne Westwood! This post reminds me of when I went to a Vivienne Westwood exhibition and they had a whole section dedicated to SEX with a short film about it and there were two older ladies next to me who kept tutting and saying what a disgrace it was. Made me laugh :) xx
