DIY/ Interiors

I Love herbs and spices and I love to have them around my kitchen. I always have 1 - 3 pots of herbs around basil, rosemary, lavender, thyme etc.. . Fresh herbs add some much flavour to any dish, soup, herbal tea etc.. They bring lovely scents to the kitchen and they look pretty too! This is just a simple DIY to display your herbs around your kitchen recycling super market food containers, in this case was an olive container.
This is what you need to do:
- You have to boil some water and place the container for a few minutes until the sticker it's easy to remove.
-Remove the stickers and clean the container as you can see in photo number 2.
-Add any herb plant and Voila!
And with my lovely herb pot and rest of the olives I did one of my favourites salads. Greek salad! (Feta cheese missing!) I love Greek food and Greece. I actually been looking for Local deals to go on holiday. I was thinking Greece or Morocco? Both lovely countries with great food! What is your favourite place for holiday and eat good food?

  4. This is a very 'green' and stylish way to decorate the kitchen! I love herbs and spices as well and at my wedding reception the tables were decorated with a small composition of lavender, rosemary and other aromatic herbs instead of flowers. I love eating and it places an essential part when I'm traveling. I've never visited Greece nor Marocco, but I love their traditional kitchen. If you decide to go to Italy, Portugal (especially Lisbon) or Spain, let me know and I may give you some culinary help!

  5. This is such a simple idea, but it looks so much more stylish than those window trays! I love herbs too, they seem to be the only plants I cant kill! Hah!
Greece is such a beautiful country, but I've always wanted to go to Morocco too! Hard decision!

    beso!

  10. Oh I so love fresh herbs and am just getting ready to start my herb garden outside (if the weather would just get nicer!), but I've never had any luck growing them indoors, though I have tried and tried. Your idea looks like a good one and I will see if it will work for me! I visited Greece but Morocco is still on my wish list. Greece was wonderful and the food was so memorable and delicious.
