Frida Kahlo

Mi painting carries with it a message from pain.
Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo has been one of the most popular Mexican painters. Her life was very tragic,  she had and accident when she was very little, she suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident, including a broken spinal column, a broken collarbone, broken ribs, a broken pelvis, eleven fractures in her right leg, a crushed and dislocated right foot, and a dislocated shoulder. Also, an iron handrail pierced her abdomen and her uterus, which seriously damaged her reproductive ability she also marry to the muralist and politic activist Diego Rivera, she spend most of her life in bed for all the accidents that she had.
"I paint a lot of self portraits because I spend a lot of time alone"
Frida Kahlo

"Feets, I don't need them if I have wings to fly"
Frida Kahlo

"I tried to drown my sorrows but they learned to swim"
Frida kahlo

"Paint completes my life"

What I love about her paintings is that she painted her heart in them you can almost feel what she was feeling. All the fisical and emotional pain she had in her life as a result of all the operations and infidelity from her husband Diego Rivera; she frequently said that her paintings had the message of pain.
I strongly recommend her biography. It is fascinating.

I found some fashion photos from diferent editorials inspired in Frida Kahlo. Hope you like them.
